Three middle aged men, all good friends who have pretty much figured their adventures are over, suddenly find themselves in the middle of a crisis: Murat, the youngest son of one gentleman, has a rare eye condition which will soon cost him his sight, unless an operation costing $35,000 can be performed. The men give up on their marginal existences of a cow, some chickens, and a bread shop, and try to find a way to start making money --- and just incidentally, to reinvent new lives for themselves and for their large families.
