This Western spoof stars Bud Abbott and Lou Costello as Duke Egan and Chester Wooley. The story is based on an actual law from the old West. When Duke is accused of killing a man in the small western town of Wagon Gap, he is required to take care of the dead man's wife. Stepping up to the task, Duke takes on Widow Hawkins (Marjorie Main), and her seven children.
