The World's Ugliest Dog Contest (TM) was founded with the aim of promoting rescue dogs, raising awareness of animal welfare and celebrating unconventional beauty, it brings together the planet's most aesthetically challenged canines, all vying to be crowned 'The World's Ugliest Dog' and become an overnight, global sensation. Incredibly, throughout the contest's illustrious history, there has never been a British entrant. Never have those dogs with their own unique sense of beauty had an ambassador on the world stage, someone they can support, idolise...that is, until now. This year Mugly, 'Britain's Ugliest Dog', crossed the Atlantic in a bid to prove himself best in show and become the first British male solo artist in some time to break America.
