Wine of the Morning, produced by Unusual Films, is a family film based on a novel by Bob Jones Jr. This story of shipwreck and intrigue, of love and redemption, traces the life of Joel, a promising young man who turns outlaw to free his people from Roman tyranny. As "Barabbas," Joel becomes the murderer and robber the mob chooses to release in place of Christ. The events that Joel witnesses give viewers a refreshing perspective on the Gospel stories and a new appreciation for the works of the Messiah.
