After Miranda's son Albert gets diagnosed with Cancer she discovers a healthy way for them to live. With her college girlfriend Riley's help they save Simon( a loving, intelligent chimp who is endanger of harmful, scientific experiments) and in the process learn that the chimps have had it right the whole time. Eating raw foods and showing compassion for all living things creates healing and powerful change.
